CONSUMPTION IN BULGARIA DOWN

Consumption in Bulgaria has dropped with 4.4 percent compared to the same period last year. Household spending fell by 2.7 percent. The analysis is based on seven types of food products. Dairy products are the most consumed purchase. The analysis also shows an overall price increase of 1.7 percent of all food products. Consumers prefer mineral water to fruit juices. Ground coffee consumption has risen. The research was prepared by GfK Bulgaria.
