Bulgarian doctors struggle to save the live of one of the teenage girls, injured in a blast at a children's playground in Sofia on Sunday.
The 14-year-old girl has lost an eye in the explosion and suffered serious head traumas, medics reported. The live of the other victim, also 14, is out of danger.
Initial police reports said the two girls had found a jar under a bench in a playground in the Sofia district of Lyulin, which exploded after they threw it away.
It was not immediately clear what the content of the jar was.
The blast occurred just two days after a woman died while her husband and another woman were seriously injured in a deadly explosion, caused by chemicals poured in a drainage shaft in Sofia's Hadzhi Dimitar district.
