Five people died as 25 heavy car crashes were reported overnight in Bulgaria, according to the data of the country's Interior Ministry.
A total of 26 passengers were injured in the accidents, including one whose condition is critical.
In capital Sofia, the number of traffic accidents during the same period was 163, including 12 major car accidents. Fourteen people were injured.
The Union of the Bulgarian Motorists advises the drivers to drive with normal speed and to keep distance between the cars.
