A 38-year-old gunman was arrested hours after killing nine people and wounding two in eastern Serbia late on Friday.
Nikola Radosavlevich opened fire in the village of Jabukovac, near the border with Bulgaria, after a row with his wife, head of Serbia's criminal police reported.
The victims included a 15-year-old and at least two women. The shooter used a hunting rifle.
At the time of the arrest, the murderer tried to shot himself but survived and his life is not in danger.
Radosavlevich was detained after special units and helicopters looked for him. Police sealed off the village while frightened residents locked themselves inside their homes, Serbian media said.
