About 2,75 % was the turnout in Bulgaria's second largest city Plovdiv until 10.30 a.m.
The municipality of Shumen beat the record with turnout of 4,56%, followed by Stara Zagora with 4,23 as opposed to the northern town of Vratsa where the voters to the moment are below 2%.
The election day is expected to end at 9 p.m. Bulgarian time but if people are queuing to vote they will be given the chance.
