The United Kingdom will grant Bulgaria GBP 129,800 for a project aimed at improving the quality of services offered by public administration institutions in the EU-newcomer country.
The project, launched on Monday, will focus on teaching Bulgarian public servants to offer better services and developing e-government services in the country.
Some 200 Bulgarian public servants are expected to take part in the project, which will run until March 2009.
British civil servants will travel back to share their experience.
The joint project between Bulgaria's Public Administration Ministry and the British Embassy in Bulgaria will be managed by the embassy.
