A church delegation, leaded by three bishops and two representatives of the Department of Ecclesiastical Matters of Bulgaria's Ministry Council, brought the Holy Fire from Jerusalem on Easter Saturday.
Later in the evening the Holy Fire will be brought to St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral in Sofia, where Bulgaria's Patriarch Maxim will celebrate the Easter mass.
Bulgarian clergymen attended the liturgy in "Christ's Resurrection" church, built at the place, where Jesus was buried.
Every year thousands of palmers arrive at the holy place to witness the miracle of the Holy Fire, falling from the sky over the Holy Sepulchre.
It is believed that the Fire falls after the Jerusalem patriarch says a prayer as well as that for few minutes it is immaterial - does not burn and warm.
