One of the most eccentric US pop stars Pink is to give a spectacular show in Bulgaria on July 1, the organisers from Sofia music Enterprise announced.
The tickets for the event, which is to take place on Sofia's Academic Stadium, will be put up for sale from April 3. The first 3000 tickets will be at the promotional price of BGN 20. Otherwise, they are to be spread for BGN 30 to 50.
Besides she enchants the fans with a unique hoarse voice, Pink is also a talented composer and poet.
For seven years now, the singer sold millions of copies of her four solo albums.
In her newest one, Pink included a ballad, called "Dear Mr President", which is dedicated to the US President George Bush.
Alecia Beth Moore, aka Pink, was born on September 8, 1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to Vietnam veteran James Moore and nurse Judy Kugel.
Her debut album, "Can't Take Me Home", was released in April 2000.
Pink collaborated with pop singer Christina Aguilera, rapper Lil' Kim and R&B/pop singer Mya on a cover of Labelle's 1975 single "Lady Marmalade" recorded for the soundtrack of the film "Moulin Rouge!". Produced by hip-hop producers Rockwilder and Missy Elliott, the song topped the charts in countries including the US, the UK and Australia and won a Grammy Award.
The single "Trouble" earned Pink her second Grammy Award for "Best Female Rock Vocal Performance" at the 2004 Grammy Awards.
Pink married motocross racer Carey Hart in Costa Rica on January 7, 2006 after she proposed to him by holding up a sign for him to see during one of his races.
