The UK newspaper Scotsman published an article, whose author remembers with nostalgia the times when Bulgarian wines were very popular in the UK.
"There was a time in this country when Bulgarian cabernet sauvignon was as popular as Australian shiraz is now," reads the article.
The newspaper gets back to the early year of 1908, when in Britain one could get a juicy wine for GBP 3-4 per bottle.
With the help of the EU, Bulgarian wines will be back on the British market, the author of the article hopes.
