UK alternative rock band The Cure organized an inquiry among their fans to find out where they are most wanted for a concert, part of their world tour.
It turns out that Bulgarian fans of the band are most active in demanding a concert, scoring 400 votes already. If the country keeps the score, Sofia is very likely to be included in the tour list.
The inquiry was organized online at eventful.com through The Cure's official profile in myspace.com.
Currently Bulgaria is leading the vote, followed by Poland, Los Angeles and Dallas.
If you are The Cure fan and really, really want to see them live in Sofia, you can vote at http://eventful.com/performers/P0-001-000008868-1/demand.
The Cure are one of the most successful English rock bands, widely seen as a leading pioneer of the British alternative rock scene of the 1980s.
A combination of lead singer Robert Smith's iconic wild hair, pale complexion, smudged lipstick, and the frequently gloomy and introspective lyrics have led to the band being primarily classified as gothic rock.
