Northern Bulgaria Sweats Out Warmest Jan 10 Ever

People in Northern Bulgaria experienced their warmest January 10 on record this year.

The mild weather that has been sweeping Bulgaria for weeks already reached a peak in the town of Vidin, where the mercury zoomed up to the record-high 18,2 C. The latest record on this date was registered in 1992, when the temperature reached 16,5 C.

Temperatures in the town of Pleven beat the record from 1998, topping 16,5 C.
