A young woman has died in hospital after being shot by a gunman who wounded 19 other people during a shooting spree at a Canadian college. The man was shot dead by police officers on the campus in the city of Montreal, BBC said, confirming earlier reports. The assaulter has been described as a 25-year-old man, dressed in a black trench coat, with a scowl, a Mohawk haircut and carrying three weapons. He entered the canteen of Dawson College during the lunch hour. The dead woman was in her 20s. At least six of the injured are in a critical condition in hospital. It was not immediately clear what triggered the violence.
