Paintings by Bulgaria's legendary Vladimir Dimitrov "The Master" and Zlatyu Boyadzhiev will be among the top exhibits at a new art gallery in Sofia, local media revealed Thursday.

The Lorane art spot is owned by Lavren Petrov, grandson of renowned artist Tsanko Lavrenov.

Lorane's opening event will aim at attracting a wide range of art lovers, organizers have said. Besides Dimitrov and Boyadzhiev, Tsanko Lavrenov, Atanas Mihov, Ivan Matev, and many more, as well as contemporary artists, will be represented.

In August the gallery will show a unique joint expo of paintings by Zlatyu Boyadzhiev and Tsanko Lavrenov.

Although the two were good friends, they never made it for a joint exhibition in their lifetime.
