Thousands of Bulgarian fans set a hearty welcome for German rock dinosaurs Helloween.
The band staged their second concert here on Sunday evening, reminding their maiden voyage to Sofia in December 2003.
Helloween began their history in the beginning of the 80s when the members of two German bands Iron Fist and Powerfool united. In 1985 the band released the 5-track mini album "Helloween", also called "the Mini-LP", and in October the long player "Walls Of Jericho" featuring an improved version of "Metal Invaders".
Produced by Tommy Newton/Tommy Hansen, "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part I" is met with enthusiastic reviews. Helloween even gains success overseas in America and Japan and is able to establish a large fan base. The second part is released in 1988 with "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part II", which turns out to become even more successful than its predecessor.
The band now includes Andi Deris (Vocals), Michael Weikath (Guitar), Sascha Gerstner (Guitar), Markus Grosskopf (Bass)and Dani Loeble (Drums).
