Hosts Germany will play the opening game against Costa Rica in World Cup finals in Munich on June 9, it emerged after the draw in Leipzig.
The three-time holder of the World Cup Germany will then take on neighbor Poland and Ecuador, the rivals from Group A.
England will play Paraguay, Sweden and Trinidad and Tobago in this summer's World Cup finals in Germany.
England, drawn in group B, are to play their first game against Paraguay in Frankfurt, on June 10, next year. They will then face Trinidad and Tobago in Nuremburg, on June 15, and Sweden - who England have not beaten since 1968 - in Cologne, on June 20.
The draw included 32 teams divided into eight groups of four different pots, with Serbia and Montenegro placed in a special pot.
Brazil are favourites to win the competition for the fifth time.
