A protest against a neo-Nazi march turned in gang-rioting leading to more than 65 arrests in the town of Toledo, in the State of Ohio on Saturday. At least two dozen members of a National Socialist Movement, calling itself "America's Nazi Party," were marching in uniforms under police protection against black gangs they said were harassing white residents. Close to 600 anti-Nazis were enraged by the mayor's decision to allow the neo- march and started throwing rocks and insults at the police, vandalizing their vehicles and even threatening to shoot some officials. The crowd set buildings on fire, but there were no victims, apart from several injured policemen. Police needed several hours to subdue the rioting crowds.
