Bulgaria's National Library in Sofia opened its doors Monday to all literature lovers after a complete renovation.
Some BGN 1 M were used for the renovation work. The library's roof was completely fixed, the reading rooms also were entirely renovated. The library's restoration laboratory was also modernized.
The biggest "book home" in Bulgaria was supplied with new computers as well.
The refurbished Reading Room 1, specialized for old written records, was named after one of the Library donors, Professor Marin Drinov, at a ceremony hosted by Culture Minister Stefan Danailov.
