Trade between Bulgaria and Estonia will be duty-free starting from January 1, 2001. Bulgarian cheese, vegetables, wine and liquor will enjoy unlimited access to the 1.4-million-consumers Estonian market while Estonian cattle meat, fish, some cheeses and chocolate will get preferential treatment on the Bulgarian market. This is envisaged by the free trade agreement between the two countries signed Tuesday by Bulgarian Deputy Economy Minister Lyubka Kachakova and Estonian Foreign Ministry Deputy Secretary Vajno Renart.
