A 200-meter high Tower of Laughter will be built in Bulgaria's northern town of Gabrovo, known across the entire country for its residents having a legendary sense of humour.
The tower will be a symbol of the happiness and optimism, the Gabrovo Humour and Satire Home announced. The Laughter Tower project came from the Swiss association "Harila" that initiated the establishment of the United Nations of Laughter, joined also by the Bulgarian "capital of laughter."
The Swiss organization has sent an invitation to Gabrovo residents to join the unique Geneva parade on May 1, when the world marks the Laughter Day and the United Nations of Laughter will be inaugurated.
