Late Sunday the Bulgarian Extreme and Freeskiing Association (BEFSA) awarded the winners in the third national extreme skiing and snowboarding competition "The Mad Goat Ride".
Andrey Balevski was awarded best skier from 19 participants and Kostadin Kostadinov-Fozi was awarded best snowboarder from among 11 at the competition, which took place over the weekend in the Rila Lakes Hut region, Rila Mountains.
Maya Stoilova was the only female snowboarder, who participated in the event.
The participants started at 2,200 m of height and the final was at 2,050 m with a denivelation of 150 m.
This is the sixth competition organized by BEFSA, with many international participants in the past editions and attracting thousands of spectators.
