The building of Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) will amaze Sofia residents Monday morning with totally "redressed", as it will be packed white-and-blue to mark the radio's 70 anniversary.
Alpinists will take on the job over the weekend and are expected to dress the building in BNR's emblematic colours, the radio's program director Stefan Radovanov said.
On the year of its 70th anniversary, BNR will also give out its annual awards "Sirak Skitnik", named after its first director, on January 24. A bust monument of Skitnik will be inaugurated in the radio's entrance hall.
The online version of BNR ( http://www.bnr.bg ) offers radio broadcasting live in 11 languages, which won it the Web Site of 2004 award.
