Foreigners are fond of Bulgaria's nature, cuisine and people, a recent survey shows.
The Vitosha Research study, executed among foreigners living in Bulgaria, revealed that the foreigners were mostly impressed by the hospitality of the Bulgarian people, by their communicativeness, sense of humour and intelligence.
Most of the foreigners associate Bulgaria with roses, the Black Sea and the beautiful nature. A total of 36% of the participants in the survey describe Bulgaria as a Balkan country, another 26% as a former socialist state, while 6% see it as a European country.
The number of people seeing a positive tendency in the living conditions, the services offered, the democracy development and level unemployment has increased considerably.
The participants in the survey also pointed out that the Bulgarians are well disposed towards foreign citizens and stand by their friends, family and believe in the good education.
