Two successive goals from Bulgarian national Valeri Bojinov helped Lecce to an impressive 4-1 home win over Brescia in Italian Serie A on Saturday night.
Lecce continued their excellent string of results with a win at the expense of Brescia who have now lost both their opening matches of the new Serie A season.
Valeri Bojinov, aged 18, was the hero of the day for the southerners as Lecce hit back after going behind to a 27th-minute goal for the visitors from Andrea Caracciolo. The young talent, seen as Bulgaria's answer to Wayne Rooney, equalised 11 minutes later.
Serbian Sasa Bjelanovic put Lecce ahead sliding in a low cross from Erminio Rullo five minutes after the restart and Bojinov grabbed his second and Lecce's third in the 72nd, thus securing the points for Lecce.
