Japan's Mitsui Plans Wind Farm Investment in Bulgaria

Japanese Mitsui and Co is considering a EUR 10 M investment in a wind power generation farm in the Black Sea region of Burgas.

The capacity of the farm is set at 10 to 20 MW, Energy Ministry Milko Kovachev said.

Last year Japanese Mitsui&Co was contracted for the rehabilitation of Maritsa East 2 thermal power plant in southern Bulgaria.

Mitsui&Co, which ranks thirteen in global trade transactions, launched its operations in Bulgaria 29 years ago.
