Greece captain Theodoros Zagorakis has been named as the UEFA EURO 2004 Player of the Tournament.
The 32-year-old Athens FC midfielder has been an inspirational figure for his team's wonderful performance at the Championship.
The result was announced in Lisbon on Monday by UEFA's technical study group, the group of coaches and technical experts which is compiling a report on technical and tactical trends to arise from the competition in Portugal.
The UEFA study group revealed also this year's All-Star Squad. The 23-strong squad contains two goalkeepers, seven defenders, seven midfielders and seven attackers.
Five of the distinguished players come from the winning Greek squad, with men of nine other nations added to the lineup.
