A new computer virus named Scob has been unleashed, to steal valuable information like passwords or banks' data. Scob is using a new technique that turns popular websites into virus transmitters. The infection, first discovered by Microsoft, appears to take advantage of three separate flaws with Microsoft products. Users can search their computers for the files "Kk32.dll" or "Surf.dat" to see if they are infected. Experts also advised that security settings on Microsoft's Internet Explorer browsers should be turned up to the highest levels. The virus does not spread though non-Microsoft browsers.
