A meeting between Bulgaria's Ambassador to Libya Zdravko Velev and Libya's Chief Prosecutor is being prepared.

Doctor Zdravko Georgiev, the only released Bulgarian medic in the HIV trial, said in an interview for Darik radio that he visited twice the five Bulgarian nurses sentenced to death ever since they were moved from a Benghazi to a Tripoli jail.

Yesterday it was made clear that Libyan Prosecutor's Office appealed the sentence of Doctor Georgiev. He was sentenced to four years in prison. The medic was released as he had already served his sentence during the investigation and the hearings of the court.
