`Cooperation in justice and the fight against organized crime between the prosecuting magistracies of Bulgaria and China are being discussed during the official visit of representatives of China`s prosecutor general`s office,` Rosen Dimov, Appellate Prosecutor of Plovdiv said. He accompanied the Chinese guests during their meeting with magistrates of the Veliko Turnovo Regional Court. The Chinese delegation is led by Wan Ke, head of a working group of the Council on Discipline of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. The Prosecutors General of the provinces, Zi Lin, Liao Nin and Hu Bei participate in the delegation. The visit is made in compliance with an agreement on cooperation between the two countries` prosecuting magistracies signed in Beijing last year. The members of the Chinese delegation are to meet the Bulgarian Prosecutor General Nikola Filchev and officials of the Supreme Cassation Prosecution Office. The Bulgarian magistrates are interested in the experience of their Chinese colleagues in the fight against corruption and documentary offences. `The need to broaden cooperation in connection with rogatory letters and the investigation of offences stems from the increase in the number of Chinese businessmen in Bulgaria,` Dimov said.
