A cold snap begins in Bulgaria on Monday, with temperatures expected to fall throughout next week, with snow expected to fall in some mountains, the national weather service says.

Forecasts for Sunday indicate thermometers will still hit 25-30 degrees Celsius, values high enough for the winter, or 23-27 degrees by the seaside.

However, clouds will begin gathering late in the afternoon, accompanied by rain on the next day.

On Tuesday, temperatures will decrease sharply, with rainfall expected to hit some areas (and snow in some mountains) through Thursday. Warmer weather is expected from Friday.
