Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has said he is "not commenting" on information that Parliament Speaker Tsetska Tsacheva is the nomination of his GERB party for the presidential elections.
Earlier, the names of Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, Deputy PM Tomislav Donchev, Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, and Tsacheva herself have been repeatedly mentioned as possible nominees.
On Wednesday, the website Terminal 3 cited two unnamed sources when reporting Tsacheva would be GERB's candidate.
Borisov, however, is determined not to unveil the names of the presidential pair before October 02, or just over a month before the elections.
Tsacheva has repeatedly denied she will run, saying she has ambitions related to her current positions.
GERB leader Boyko Borissov reacted to the fall of the Zhelyazkov government during a live broadcast on his official Facebook page, following the mass protests across the country.
