A wave of cooler air will reach northwestern Bulgaria on Thursday afternoon, bringing thunderstorms and torrential rain, bTV has reported.
Hailstorms are expected in the northwestern regions in which maximum air temperature will fall to 27 degrees Celsius.
Air temperature will remain considerably higher in eastern Bulgaria on Thursday, reaching 38 degrees Celsius in some areas there.
Thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are expected in central and parts of eastern Bulgaria on Friday, bTV said.
Saturday will come with spells of cloudy weather with winds blowing from north-northeast. Maximum air temperature is expected to reach 24 degrees Celsius. No rainfall is expected.
Air temperature will start rising slowly on Sunday when clouds will disperse in most areas.
