A new car bomb attack rocked Turkey on Wednesday, just a day after a similar bombing took place in Istanbul.
A bomb-laden car exploded as it was trying to pass through the barriers of the police headquarters of the Midyat district of the southeastern Turkish province of Mardin on Wednesday.
The attack claimed the lives of two civilians and one police officer and left thirty other injured.
The latest bombing comes only a day after a car bomb targeted a police bus in the central Beyazit district of Istanbul, killing seven police officers and four civilians and injuring 36 other.
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim blamed the the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) for carrying out the attack on Wednesday.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack in Istanbul on Tuesday, but the PKK is among the prime suspects along with Islamic State (IS).
