"You are such interesting people. Given that the are two times more tourists [than air force members] coming just 50-60 km from here... Are they going to bomb their own tourists? Stop pressuring the state in this outrageous way!"
Bulgarian's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov reacts to a journalist's question when asked whether the upgraded Bezmer Airport, reopened on Sunday and used by NATO forces since 2006, could become a target for terrorists.
In his comment, "tourists" is an apparent reference to the migrants crossing into Bulgaria from Turkey, with the town of Yambol (near which the Bezmer baze is located) lying just several dozen kilometers from the Bulgarian-Turkish border.
“We have obliterated every military target on Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island… and if Iran interferes with free passage through the Strait of Hormuz, I will reconsider the decision to spare its oil infrastructure.
“The conflict in Iran must stop before the whole region is dragged in"
“If the international community does not hold the United States and Israel accountable, the global order will be shaken”
“Bulgaria’s economy is developing well despite the political crisis, and the country is already benefiting from the introduction of the euro.
“I am not and will not be a traitor to the party that I created.
"I sent the ministers to him, but they can't stand next to a person who has already become a party leader.
