Bulgaria: Man Blows Himself Up in Belgrade Bakery

An unidentified man blew himself up after detonating a hand grenade in a pastry shop in Belgrade on Monday.

No one else was injured in the incident, which occurred at half past noon in the centre of the Serbian capital, Serbia's interior ministry informed.

The pastry shop is owned by former Serbian Culture Minister Bratislav Petkovic,

The man entered the shop, ordered everyone out and then activated the grenade, Serbian media inform.

A bank, several other stores, a pharmacy, a market and a high school are all located in the area around the site of the explosion.

The high school informed that none of its students were harmed in the incident.

The police is working on establishing all facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
