Bulgarian snowboarder Alexandra Jekova is taking home her first this season in the ladies' snowboard cross final as part of the Snowboard World Cup in Veysonnaz, Switzerland.
Jekova has scored a third victory for her career, and also the first in five years. It was in Veysonnaz, in March 2014, where she was in Top 3 for the last time, finishing third.
Her Saturday victory has helped her climb up the overall ranking to 7th spot (2240 points). Michela Moioli, Italy, is leading the ranking with 4200 points.
