Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is expected to arrive on a working visit to Bulgaria on Tuesday.
During his visit, Davutoglu is scheduled to meet with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and President Rosen Plevneliev.
The two prime ministers will discuss the development of bilateral relations, deepening cooperation in addressing the migratory pressure and other topics of mutual interest.
The visit of Davutoglu, which has attracted opposition from several Bulgarian nationalist formations, comes at a time of deteriorating relations between Turkey and Russia and the Monday's decision of the EU to open a new chapter in accession negotiations with Ankara.
