A flint tools workshop was unearthed in near the village of Kamenovo in the region of Razgrad, Northeastern Bulgaria, specialized outlets say.

Quarries used to mine the flint were located where the towns of Ravno and Topchii are found nowadays.
Excavations at the site are due to go on in September 2015 with funding from Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture (current activity was sponsored by the Razgrad Regional Museum of History).
