Inside Bulgaria's Easter Celebrations: Traditions Passed Through Generations
Today marks the joyous celebration of Easter, one of the most significant holidays in the Orthodox Christian calendar.
The renovation of the Palace of Culture and Sports in the Bulgarian Black Sea capital of Varna is completed and the venue is ready to host the matches from the World League.
The first matches of the Bulgarian men's national volleyball team in the renovated hall will be the games against Cuba on June 27 and 28 and Argentina on July 4 and 5.
With these four matches Bulgaria will complete its participation in the group stage of the tournament.
At present, Bulgaria occupies the second place in Pool C, but regardless of the final standing the team will proceed to the next stage as the country will host the final round of Group 2.
The venue in Varna will host the matches from the final round of Group 2, which are scheduled to take place on July 10 and 11.
The single ticket for one of the matches against Cuba and Argentina costs BGN 10 or BGN 15, while a combined ticket for all four games is at the price of BGN 30 or BGN 50.
The tickets have already gone on sale and can be purchased from the cashier desks of the Palace of Culture and Sports as well as online at ticketportal.bg.
The venue will also host the matches from Pool C of the men's European Volleyball Championship, which is taking place between October 9 and 18.
Bulgaria is co-hosting the tournament together with Italy, each country being represented with two cities.
The other Bulgarian city to host matches from the tournament is the capital Sofia with the matches from Pool A and the final round to be played in the Arena Armeec hall.
