US Special Envoy on Energy Matters Expected in Bulgaria

Special Envoy to the US Foreign Secretary John Kerry, Amos Hochstein will be arriving in Bulgaria Wednesday.
During his visit in Sofia, Hochstein will be received by Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev and by Prime Minister Boiko Borisov.
The US Special Envoy from the US Bureau of Energy Resources will also hold talks with Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova and Foreign Affairs Minister Daniel Mitov.
The main topic of discussion is said to be connected with the construction of a gas inter-connector pipe between Bulgaria and Greece, as well as the construction of a Unit 7 of the Kozlodui Nuclear Power Plant by US-based company Westinghouse.
