EU Nations Consider Recognizing Palestinian Statehood

State representatives from all around the world gather in Poland on Tuesday to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp.

The leaders of Germany, France and Ukraine will attend the traditional silent march and will be accompanied by the Secretary of US Treasury Jacob Lew and Chief of Russia's Presidential Administration Sergei Ivanov.
Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev will also express the country's support in the march.
The main event will start with the lighting of candles in front of the "Gate of Death" at Birkenau.
