Tragic Accident in Plovdiv: Two Young Lives Lost
Last night, a tragic accident claimed the lives of two young individuals in Plovdiv
The Euro-Chinese Economic Development Zone (ECEDZ), a Plovdiv-based project under development, was presented at the Bulgarian-Chinese business forum “Bulgaria: Expand Your Business” organized in Beijing by the InvestBulgaria agency with the support of the EU.
The forum was opened by the Bulgarian Ambassador to China, Plamen Shukyurliev, while Kostadin Dzhatev, Deputy Executive Director of the InvestBulgaria Agency, presented Bulgaria’s advantages as an investment destination, including the political stability, the strategic geographic location, the simplified administrative procedures, and the most attractive tax rates in the EU.
He stated Bulgaria’s support for investments in one of the biggest investment projects in the country, the Euro-Chinese Economic Development Zone.
The presentation of the project was carried out by Emil Yankov, while representatives of the Export-Import Bank of China, who expressed interest in the zone, vowed to visit the site in December.
“The ECEDZ provides a good basis for the development of economic relations between China and Europe,” said a representative of Hainan Longquanren Century Invest and Development Co., Ltd., the Chinese partner in the Euro-Chinese Economic Development Zone.
He listed incentives for Chinese investors in the ECEDZ project, including Bulgaria’s location, tax rates, and culture and the friendly bilateral relations.
“The concept of a European-Chinese logistics and business center is very attractive for the future development of business and its implementation can be very successful. It is currently very difficult for Chinese investors to establish a company of their own and start manufacturing products in Bulgaria because they are unacquainted with the market. This is why the idea is to set foot on the market with new technologies, with a new logistics hub, which can use models such as O2O and B2C sales, which are well known in China, for instance via Taobao and Alibaba,” he said, as cited by the InvestBulgaria Agency.
The next forum “Bulgaria: Expand Your Business” will take place on November 11 in Shanghai.
