Changes to Sofia's Airport Bus Service: Line 384 Discontinued, New Express Route Soon
Bus line 384, which previously operated between Druzhba-2 district and Sofia Airport, has been officially discontinued, announced the Center for Urban Mobility.
The 31st edition of the Sofia Marathon is taking place in Bulgaria's capital Sofia on Sunday.
It started at 10:00 EEST, but some streets were sealed off due to the event as early as 06:30 EEST.
The race started at the Vasil Levski national stadium, with about 2000 runners willing to cross the 42.195 km distance.
Its route includes key boulevards such as Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi and Vitosha and crosses the South Park to finish at the venue it started.
No vehicles will be allowed access to sections of Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd, Gurko Str, Dragan Tsankov Blvd, Bulgaria Blvd, Cherni Vrah Blvd, Byala Cherkva Str, Patriarh Evtimiy Blvd, Petko Karavelov Blvd and Vitosha Blvd.
The ban will be in force until 16:00.
Busses 9, 72, 75, 76, 84, 94, 102, 204 and 604 will be partially rerouted within that stretch of time.
