The first free downhill mountain bike race will take place at Vitosha mountain on October 11.
It is organised by the Level Seven sports association and is part of the celebrations of the 80-th anniversary of Vitosha National Park and of Sofia's bid to become European Capital of Sport 2017.
The downhill race will take place in the Dragalevtsi district at the foot of the mountain, starting from the Bai Krustyo chair lift terminal at 10:30 AM.
Another part of the event is taking place at the Aleko chalet on Vitosha mountain. It will feature BMX demonstrations, rope park, wall climbing and jogging.
