Bulgaria's GERB party has launched its election campaign in Sofia's Arena Armeets hall in front of some 14,000 party members and supporters, Sunday.

GERB leader Boyko Borisov, deputy chair Tsvetan Tsvetanov and Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova entered to the sound of 'O sole mio', Focus news reports.

A video was showed of the party's vision for the country government in the next four years, emphasizing the need for a strong economy and energy sector. GERB campaign started under the slogan 'Stable Bulgaria. It's Time!'.

Head of the election headquarters of GERB, former Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov noted that the campaign will rely on the positive tone and dialogue, in order to have a meaningful debate, and a competition of political ideas, BGNES informs.

Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova talked about GERB's program regarding education, health, accelerated absorption of EU funds, further development of the infrastructure, support of small and medium businesses, among others.
