Nationalist parties VMRO and National Front for the Salvation of Bulgaria (NFSB) have formed a coalition titled “Patriotic Front” for the early elections in October.
The coalition agreement was signed by the leaders of the two political formations, Krasimir Karakachanov (VMRO) and Valeri Simeonov (NFSB).
VMRO, which split from the coalition headed by the Bulgaria without Censorship party of former TV host Nikolay Barekov, and NFSB, join forces for “a revival of the Bulgarian economy, a fight against monopolies, achieving modern education and healthcare and a fair and uncorrupt judiciary,” the coalition agreement says, as cited by dnevnik.bg.
The coalition agreement informs that the two nationalist parties have joined forces in “the most natural political union possible”, bringing together like-minded patriots who are true to the legacy of Khan Kubrat, Levski and the thousands who lost their lives in the fight to liberate and unite Bulgaria.
The newly formed coalition has also set up a civic council which is open to other parties sharing its ideas.
