NoviniteGroup presented its annual awards "Personality in the News 2021"

The 13th edition of the "Personality in the News" attracted over 15,000 readers of Novinite.com and Novinite.bg to elect the most deserving nominees.
"Personality in the News 2013" was split in six categories; Politics, Business, Diplomacy, Sports, Culture, and Charity. Voting was open from December 2013 to February 2014.
Here are the official results:
Politics

Irina Bokova – 2,188
Irina Bokova was elected to the post of Director General of UNESCO in 2009, becoming the first woman and Eastern European to head the organization. In 2013, she was re-elected for a second term.

Business

Ekkehard Neureither and Ivaylo Penchev – 966
Ekkehard Neureither is the country manager for Bulgaria of ABB, a leader in power and automation technologies. He was appointed to the post in June 2013.

Ivaylo Penchev is the founder and CEO of Walltopia, a leading global producer of climbing walls, with over 15 years of experience in the field.

Elder Dobri – 3,881
Dyado Dobri (Elder Dobri) has made headlines in Bulgaria for his dedication to the church. The 99-year-old man walks 10 km each day from his home village of Baylovo to Sofia in order to beg for money, which he later donates to the church. He becomes the absolute winner of the Personality in the News for 2013.
