EU Extends Suspension of Duties and Quotas for Ukrainian Imports
The European Commission has decided to extend the suspension of customs duties and quotas for Ukrainian imports into the EU for another year
Bulgaria's government has once again expressed its support for Kosovo's efforts to join a number of international organizations, including the EU and UN.
"The relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo began when our country became one of the first to recognize the Republic of Kosovo as an independent state. Time has shown that our decision was right, since Kosovo's institutions have been working towards establishing statehood, implementing reforms and embarking on a path to European integration," Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin said after meeting with his Kosovo counterpart Enver Hoxhaj.
Bulgaria's Foreign Minister gave a positive assessment to the local elections that took place in Kosovo on Sunday.
Vigenin and Hoxhaj signed on Monday a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of European and Euro-Atlantic integration between the two countries.
During his visit to Sofia, Minister Hoxhaj has also been scheduled to meent with President Rosen Plevneliev, Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski and the Deputy Parliament Speaker Aliosman Imamov.
