Protesters have pushed down almost all metal barriers in front of the Parliament building in Sofia.

Police and gendarmerie have formed a cordon to prevent the demonstrators from getting close to the building.

Another police cordon prevents protesters from heading to the Orlov Most junction and to Rakovski Street, according to the Focus news agency.

The number of protesters increases and the crowd are hurling bottles of mineral water and other objects at Parliament.

They are chanting "mafia", "resign", "red thrash".

The number of police officers is increasing tangibly.

Traffic in front of Parliament remains blocked.
