One of the best performing Bulgarian individual rhythmic gymnasts, Silvia Miteva has retired from active sport, announced the President of Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, Iliana Raeva, informs bTV on Wednesday.
Silvia Miteva is known for her perfect technique and exceptional precision with ball, hoop and ribbon and has won a dozen medals from prestigious world championships, including a gold medal on ribbon from Berlin Grand Prix 2013.
Miteva wishes to continue her involvement with rhythmic gymnastics as a judge, or a coach, reports bTV, she is currently a judge at the Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation's competition that will determine the selection of Bulgaria's national rhythmic gymnastics team.
