Over 30 teachers - most professors and associate professors from Sofia University and New Bulgarian University - have signed in support of students' occupation.

First on the list is Professor Kalin Yanakiev, initiator of the subscription. He is also one of the first guest lecturers, invited by students, who have occupied the largest lecture hall, 272, of Sofia University.

Professor George Bliznashki, who was the first teacher to visit the demonstrators and to voice support for them, is also on the list.

Meanwhile, the students declared the blockade will be permanent.

They have currently gathered in lecture hall 272 to discuss how to continue their campaign. Students say they want maximum fairness and transparency from the government.
